Cattail Twined Baskets

Join me for a day with cattail! In this class, we will discuss ethical harvesting, working with cattail fiber and the basics of making a twined basket.

With focused hands-on weaving, students will go home with a twined cattail container. Through learning and working with cattail, you will be able to create a deep relationship to this water-loving plant.

  • Date and Time: Saturday, October 10, 10 am to 3 pm

  • Location: TBA (King county or Snohomish county)

  • Tuition: $75 per student.  

Open to ages 12 and up (10-12 with an adult).

Due to COVID, classes will be limited to participants. This class will be held outside, socially distanced with masks.
