Herbal first aid empowers us to use local plant allies for common injuries and ailments.

Join us on the farm for a hands-on herbal first aid class designed especially for families and budding herbalists. Together, we will explore how common garden herbs can be used to care for everyday bumps, cuts, scrapes, bites and burns.

We will walk through the farm to meet a few easy to recognize plants, then gather to make simple remedies such as soothing salves, herbal poultices, wound powders and boo-boo sprays. This class will spotlight common herbal remedies to have in your first aid kit, practice using plants for basic first aid as well as practical skills you can use at home.

Everyone will leave with at least one handmade herbal preparation to use in first aid scenarios as well as deeper connection to the plants growing around us,
