Summer Wild Plant Foraging

  • The Highlands Homestead 19801 Mountain View Rd NE Duvall United States (map)

The sun is high in the sky and the days are long. Be it alongside a creek, on the forest edge, or emerging from a garden, plants are here to be harvested for food and medicine. This is the time to turn towards plants in their fullest expressions- flowering, fruiting and releasing their seeds.

Join Rachael Witt as she leads us on wild plant expeditions. In these six sessions, we will learn about plant identification, ethical harvesting, the energetics of the season as well as wild edibles and medicinals. We will gather, process and bring home harvested plants, recipes and knowledge to prepare ourselves to live with the season. You are invited to join one class or all.
