Winter Wild Plant Foraging- 5 Part Series

The time of tree medicine. The time of evergreen medicine.

While winter wallows away, we feel the surge towards moving our bodies and connecting with the outdoors. The storms have changed the landscape which offers a new perspective on what seasonal offerings the natural world provides. This is the time to turn towards the trees– exploring the layers of the overstory, the evergreen needles, the running sap beneath their thick outer bark and their buds swelling with the light.

Join Rachael as she leads us on wild plant harvests and expeditions. In this five session Winter harvesting series, we will learn about the plant identification, ethical harvesting, the energetics of the season as well as wild edibles and medicinals. We will gather, process and bring home harvested plants, recipes and knowledge to prepare ourselves for the change in season.
