The squirrels are key indicators of the changing season- as well as the nourishment abound. Seeds are ripe and nuts are being stored all in good timing. The cooler weather asks us to savor this years harvest by bringing the seeds to their next step of the journey. Come join us as we learn about the different ways to use seeds and nuts for nourishment, seed-saving, planting, and, of course, wildlife connection. Botanicals may include oak acorns, hazelnut (native and cultivated), dock species, plantain, sunflower species, and other wild and cultivated perennials.
Date and Time: Thursday, September 18th 4PM- 6PM
Location: Tolt McDonald Park, Carnation, WA
Tuition: Adult: $45 Parent/Child: $60 for one day
