Saturday, 2PM
Herbalism is inherently radical, it provides a care structure that exists outside and against the state, plus it builds autonomy and community. In this workshop, we will learn how herbalism has been historically suppressed and about inspiring herbalists who are working to strengthen communities and support those experiencing violence. We'll spend time getting to know some accessible herbs that are safe and easy to work with and share ideas for resistance today. There will be a hands-on and crafty component to this class as we make some remedies with the intention of giving them away.
